# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 475°F. Place pizza stone in oven if using.
02 - On lightly floured surface, stretch or roll dough into 12-inch round. Transfer to parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel dusted with cornmeal.

04 - In bowl, toss cooked chicken with 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce until evenly coated.
05 - Sprinkle half the mozzarella over BBQ sauce. Distribute BBQ chicken, red onion slices, and bell pepper evenly.
06 - Top with remaining mozzarella and smoked Gouda or cheddar cheese.

# Expert tips:

01 -
  • The combination of smoked Gouda and tangy BBQ sauce hits that perfect sweet and smoky balance that makes takeout pizza disappointing
  • You can repurpose leftover rotisserie chicken into something that feels gourmet and special
02 -
  • Never put BBQ sauce directly on raw dough without the olive oil barrier or it will make the crust soggy in the worst way
  • Letting the pizza rest for those 2 minutes feels impossible but keeps the cheese from sliding off when you slice it
03 -
  • Cornmeal on your baking sheet or peel acts like ball bearings, helping the pizza slide off effortlessly without sticking
  • A pizza peel is worth the investment but the back of a flat baking sheet works in a pinch if you do not have one
