03 - Add fresh lime juice and 3 cups cold water to the pitcher. Stir thoroughly to incorporate. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld and beverage to chill completely.
04 - Fill serving glasses with ice cubes. Pour chilled hibiscus tea over ice. Garnish with fresh lime slices and mint leaves. Serve immediately.

# Expert tips:

01 -
  • The stunning ruby red color makes any gathering feel instantly festive and special
  • Perfectly balanced between tangy and sweet without being cloying or overpowering
  • Incredibly simple to make yet impresses everyone who sees that gorgeous hue
02 -
  • The tea will continue steeping if you leave the flowers in too long, making it bitter and astringent
  • Always sweeten while the tea is still warm, otherwise you will have sugar settling at the bottom
  • Fresh lime juice makes all the difference, so do not even think about using bottled stuff
03 -
  • If the tea tastes too tart, let it sit overnight, the acidity softens remarkably
  • Use a fine mesh strainer or even cheesecloth to catch any small flower particles
